Kolej Matrikulasi Sarawak Insider

Hi again fellow readers, how’s your day? I hope you are having a good day! I am currently active in blog writing cause’ I have plenty of time. I am still searching for the best the university to enrol. Be it Private or public institution. As long I have a place to study my interest that would be great.
So as for today, I would like to share some of my experiences in Kolej Matrikulasi Sarawak (KMSw). I hope this post opens up the reality of life in a matriculation college.
Kolej Matrikulasi Sarawak is located in Kuching. It is the first Matriculation College in Sarawak. Established in 2013 with 75+ students enrolled in the very first batch. Even though the college is new, however it has no fixed site yet. We borrowed some buildings in Kolej Vokasional Sejingkat, Kuching. I guess the college will be staying there for a few years before moving to the new site of its own in Lundu. Yes, the college will have its own site in Lundu. This was announced by Ketua Menteri Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem.

this was the second batch of Kolej Matrikulasi Sarawak.

I was the second batch (2014/2015) and mostly the students were from Sarawak. There were only 2-3 students from Peninsular Malaysia. A total of 140+ students were successfully graduated by the end of April 2015. Some of them were transferred to Kolej Matrikulasi Labuan to take the 2-year program. Since the college is not enough to accommodate a lot of students, it only offers 1-year program for all the students. In the 1-year program, the college has 3 modules for science stream students. We do not offer accounting and Technical Stream like other matriculation colleges. For more information about matriculation colleges, read herehttp://www.moe.gov.my/v/program-matrikulasi
I was a part of Jawatankuasa Perwakilan Pelajar(JPP). We also successfully organised some activities inside and outside the college. I have posted them before. You can check these links:
So as the add-ons to these experiences, I am going to share another experience I had back then in the college in the next posts. I hope you enjoy and I would be glad if you find these posts helpful as an incoming student to Kolej Matrikulasi Sarawak.
Don’t hesitate to comment and share the posts. Also please contact me if you have any questions ataaronn.avit@yahoo.com
