September has been nothing but a blessed month for me and I believe this month has something good in store for you as well. Few months back before the coronavirus, around mid November, I started working as a research assistant in my alma matter, Faculty of Science, University of Malaya and has been offered to pursue a masters degree in the field of biotechnology (Applied microbiology). I was already started drafting a review paper as requested by my supervisors. Everything was going OK until late February this year, where I had a surgery and was given few weeks of rest from work. I was so glad that my supervisors were very understanding. Just when I thought I was already healed from the surgery, coronavirus outbreak happened and Malaysia was under a lockdown for few months. Students were not allowed to go to the campus, so I had a lot of time at home preparing the paper. By the end of the lockdown, I was able to complete the review and we submitted it to Environmental Technology and Innovation journal which is a Q2 journal. If you are interested in reading my work, please read it here: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S2352186420314681#! It would mean the world to me.
Thank you. Be safe.
